Chuck was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington. Chuck currently resides in Clarkston, Washington for the past 4 years with his wife Patti. He has worked for the Idaho food bank for the past 4 years. Chuck has a Bachelors degree in mechanical Engineering. He enjoys fishing and working on automobiles. Along with being a Board member for OUI, Chuck is involved with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Fleet Reserve Association, the Asotin County Human Services Board, Table of Hope, the Lewiston and Clarkston Chamber of Commerce and the Lewiston Port City Action Committee.
Chris graduated from the University of Idaho receiving his B.S. in Business in 1975, and his J.D., magna cum laude in 1989. He was admitted to the Idaho Bar in 1989 and Washington Bar in 1990. Chris practiced as a Certified Public Accountant in Idaho from 1975 to 1986 and currently holds an inactive license. He is a member of the Idaho State Bar, Washington State Bar, Idaho Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Idaho Second District Bar Association. Chris is an Accredited Estate Planner® and holds an Estate Planning Law Specialist certification from the Estate Planning Law Specialists Board, Inc. Chris’ areas of emphasis include trusts and estates, business organizations, taxation, probate, elder law and real property.
Chris currently serves as the Vice-President of the Taxation, Probate and Trust Law practice section of the Idaho State Bar and is the President of the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc., the only organization authorized by the American Bar Association and the Idaho State Bar to issue certifications in estate planning. Chris was elected this year as Vice-Chair of Opportunities Unlimited, Inc., an Idaho non-profit corporation serving people with disabilities and is on the board of Trustees of the Endowment Trust of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Lewis-Clark Valley, Inc.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys dabbling in the stock market, target shooting, photography and traveling with his wife, Pam, to places where they can SCUBA dive and snorkel.
Mitch was born in Spokane Washington. At age seven his family moved to Bonners Ferry Idaho where he lived. Mitch has been in Lewiston, Idaho since 1982. He currently works at Presnell Gage. He has been there since 2000. Mitch has a BBA from Boise State University. His interests include sports in general with an emphasis in baseball. OUI is Mitch’s only community commitment at this time.
Kraig was born and raised in Grangeville, Idaho. He and his wife Becky currently reside in Lewiston, Idaho. Kraig graduated for the University of idaho and has a bachelor degree in Finance. He and has worked for Farmers Insurance for the past 23 years as a claims handeler. Kraig and Becky enjoy traveling, snowmobiling and golf as well as family time. They have young family members with special needs, and being part of the OUI board provides first hand knowledge about how benificial this organization is to our comminty.
Karen was born in Lewiston, Id, raised in Colton and Lewiston. She currently lives in Clarkston, WA. Karen has been doing the accounting for Thiessen Oil for the past 25 years. In 2001, she and a partner purchased Thiessen Oil and took over ownership. Karen graduated from Lewiston High School and has taken some college courses. Karen has one grown son and two grandchildren. Their family passion of drag racing has added another element of fun for her many travels. Karen has interests in photography, animals and gardening. karen also She also enjoys traveling with friends and family. She plans to travel to Europe in the near furture. Along with being on this Board, Karen does some volunteer fundraising for the animal shelter.
Ron was born in Lewiston, Idaho and was raised in both Lewiston, Idaho and Moscow Idaho. He currently lives with his wife Susan in Lewiston, Idaho. Ron has worked at Banner Bank for the past 12 years. He has a Bachelors degree in Business from the Business University of Idaho. He also attended the Coast Banking School at the University of Idaho. His interests include Fly fishing, snow skiing and golf. Along with OUI, his is a member of the Valley Vision Economic Development Board, and a voting member of the Clearwater Basin Collaborative. He is also the Secretary/Treasurer for the Tri-State Hospital Foundation, A member of the Rotary and an honorary coach and team host for the NAIA College Baseball World Series.
Rick was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho. He and his wife Tina live inP Nez perce County. He attended and graduated from Lewis Clark State College in 1985 and has worked within the insurance industry for the past 26 years. Rick’s interests include his children, fishing, boating, snowboarding, horses, dogs, farming, and running his equipment. Along with OUI, Rick was past president of the Downtown Lewiston Rotary club, member of the Lewiss Clark Chamber of Commerce, member of North Idaho Health Underwriters, and Farmer’s Insurance Political Action Committee.
Dick was born and raised in Ohio. He currently lives with his wife Sherri in Lewiston, Idaho. Dick and Sherri have lived in Lewiston for the past 35 years. Dick has been in business for the past 20 years at Fischer Systems. He has a Masters Degree of Science, Parks and recreation management. His interests are gardening, camping and sailing. Along with OUI he is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Church of the Nativity and the Liars Club.
John was born and raised in North Dakota, where he attended Jamestown College and graduated with degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Business Administration. He attended WSU as well as the North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, S.D. John and his wife Marcia returned to the Lewis Clark valley after retiring from JC Penny after 34 years. He enjoys working and deep meaning conversations. As a family they enjoy camping and boating. John and Marcia have been very involved in many forms of ministry. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. John also serves on the advisory board of the Salvation Army.
